OMG! Sara drew something that didn't take a week, and isn't based on something else!! Yes. I DO still draw my own characters, beleive it or not. Even if they are old and seriously neglected.

Meet Ryan. I haven't drawn him seriously in a long time, other than a scribble on the back of a DnD character sheet for him. This boy has been through a lot. You see, he's got one of those natural magical abilities, but he has no idea what it is or how to control it. So when he gets too worked up, there's this explosion of pure energy. And that's what's happening here. Only problem? He's paranoid with a hair-trigger temper. Tsk tsk. (This is what used to happen when I would get bored and RP until the sun came up...strange ideas to screw my characters over)

I wanted to draw a scene. But then I got bored with the background and kind of half-assed it. *shrugs* I like how Ryan came out, so it's good.
